British Airways have made further enhancements to the paid for seating functionality available to customers on ba.com, effective from 13 April 2010.

Hand Baggage restrictions to the US removed
The restrictions on hand baggage allowance to and from the US has been lifted. Passengers travelling in World Traveller and World Traveller Plus can now take two pieces of hand baggage on any flight.

New Visa Requirements for customers travelling to Qatar
Please note that effective 01. May 2010 , Qatari Immigration will no longer issue visas on arrival at DOH Airport. Customer not holding the required visa prior departure will not be able to travel.All nationals listed below will have to get a visa issued prior to landing in Doha (Qatar).

British Airways & Iberia sign merger agreement
British Airways and Iberia have today taken a further step towards creating a new leading European airline group by signing their merger agreement. The terms of the merger agreement are consistent with the binding memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed between the two airlines in November 2009.
