The ticket has to be issued in the same calendar year as the approval has been requested in. In any case the maximum ticket validity is 3 months from date of issuance. All tickets must be issued electronically (where possible).
Please note that for any incorrectly issued ticket we will recharge the fare difference to the applicable published fare.
DENIED BOARDING OR DOWNGRADE AD tickets are rebated travel documents. As such, your flight confirmation and cabin allocation are subject to availability on the services on which you are booked. Should these flights have an unexpected high demand from our commercial customers, you may be asked to downgrade to another cabin or be offloaded.
Whilst this is rare occurrence, it does happen occasionally. In that case you would be accommodated on the next available BA service or, if necessary, overnight accommodation and meal expenses would be provided. If travel is in a cabin lower than originally booked we will refund the fare difference. However, the passenger will not be entitled to receive any sort of compensation (DBC).
