/ 0.0

BA CityFlyer have advised changes to its schedule for Summer 09 where they will be withdrawing the services outlined below. There are, however, some exceptions over key Bank holidays where these services may still operate.

LCY-EDI-LCY

With effect 09 May 2009, BA8706/LCYEDI on day 6 and BA8703/EDILCY on day 7 will no longer operate.

LCY-GLA-LCY

With effect 03 May 2009 BA8727/GLALCY and BA8728/ LCYGLA on day 7 will no longer operate.

LCY-FRA-LCY

With effect 10 May 2009 BA8735/FRALCY and BA8736 LCYFRA on day 7 will no longer operate.

LCY-ZRH-LCY

With effect 02 May BA8761/LCYZRH and BA8762/ZRHLCY on day 6 will no longer operate.

Customers affected by these withdrawals are being reaccommodated onto the nearest suitable service.

Customers due to travel on a BA CityFlyer service as outlined above that has been cancelled who find the alternative unsuitable may:

Rebook onto a British Airways flight to the same destination on earlier or later dates, within the validity of the ticket.

Rebook to the same destination within a 3-day period before or after the scheduled departure time of the original flight. If the same booking class is not available, the next lowest class may be booked within the same cabin.

Rebooking at an earlier/later date must be in the same booking class and cabin. The flight must be re-booked and travel must take place within the validity of the original ticket purchased. This will be at no additional cost to the customer

or

Refund the ticket purchased to the original form of payment.

Please Note:If the customers ticket includes a transfer to/from another BA service and is no longer within the minimum connection time for flights, the above options may also be used to rebook the connecting flight.

Affected passengers should contact their local British Airways office to rebook.
