The European Union (including the UK) has adopted security rules that restrict the quantity of liquids/gels, which customers may carry through airport security search points in cabin baggage.
If you are transferring on to another flight through the UK, the same restrictions apply as though your journey had started from the UK.
The rules apply to all customers travelling from any airport within the EU, as well as those customers travelling from Albania, Croatia, Iceland, India, Kenya, Kosovo, Norway, Pakistan, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, Switzerland and Ukraine, irrespective of their destination.

We ask that you read the following information carefully and ensure that you adhere to the restrictions in place to prevent delays to your journey and inconveniencing other travellers.
Liquids carried in cabin baggage must be held in individual containers, with no container exceeding 100ml (approximately 3.5 fl.oz.).
Limited quantities of liquids, gels and pastes may include:
| Suntan lotions |
Toothpaste |
Liquid or aerosol deodorants |
| Perfumes |
Cosmetics such as mascara and lip gloss |
Water and other drinks, soups and syrups |
| Other items of a similar consistency |
All liquid containers must be carried in a separate clear plastic, zip-top or re-sealable bag that does not exceed 20cm x 20cm (8in x 8in) in dimensions or equivalent to maximum one litre in capacity (1.75 pints).
All items must fit comfortably in the bag and it must be completely closed.
At the airport security search you will be asked to remove the plastic bag from your cabin bag to be x-ray screened separately.
Once you have cleared security you may purchase Duty Free liquid items from any store or onboard our aircraft and carry it with you if your journey is wholly within Europe. However, if you are transferring through the UK, these extra items must be placed in a tamper-evident bag with the receipt attached to the bag or placed inside it so it can be easily readable.
Do not open the bag until you reach your final destination, as if the seal is broken, the item will not be allowed through the security checks. We advise zou not to purchase liquid items in duty-free shops until you reach an EU airport.
