Update 5 (22 Jan 08 / 15:28)

The commercial policy for customers affected by the incident at Heathrow on 17 January 2008 has been updated. The option to upgrade to the lowest class in the next cabin if there is no availability in the original cabin of travel has been removed.

Any customers calling British Airways to rebook who were due to travel on either Thursday 17 or Friday 18 January 2008 and whose flight was cancelled must adhere to the guidelines outlined in option 1 of the policy.

All other options remain unchanged.

Update 4 (18 Jan 08 / 13:16 CET)

The commercial policy issued due to the incident at Heathrow yesterday, Thursday 17 January 2008, has been updated.

All passengers booked to travel to Geneva on 17 or 18 January 2008 whose flight has been cancelled and who are unable to re-book onto an alternative flight to Geneva as all flights are now full, can be re-booked to Zurich, Lyon or Basel at no additional charge. Passengers will need to make their own way between Zurich, Lyon or Basel and Geneva at their own cost. (Lyon & Basel have been added to Zurich as an additional option for Geneva passengers).
