Guidelines - BA Cityflyer LCY-NCE cancellations Summer 2009

BA CityFlyer have advised BA8477/LCYNCE and BA8478/NCELHR have been cancelled on various dates throughout the Summer 2009 schedule. Customers will be reaccommodated onto BA8475/LCYNCE and BA8476NCELCY services.

Advice for customers
Customers due to travel on a BA CityFlyer LCYNCELCY service that has been cancelled who find the alternative unsuitable may:

Customers rebooking to travel on BA CityFlyer services can now rebook as follows:

  • Rebook onto a British Airways flight to the same destination on earlier or later dates, within the validity of the ticket.
    Rebook to the same destination within a 3-day period before or after the scheduled departure time of the original flight. If the same booking class is not available, the next lowest class may be booked within the same cabin.
    Rebooking at an earlier/later date must be in the same booking class and cabin. The flight must be re-booked and travel must take place within the validity of the original ticket purchased. This will be at no additional cost to the customer.
  • Rebook onto a British Airways flight to the same destination on earlier or later dates, subject to availability.
    Rebooked flights must be in the same class of travel as the original booking on a date within the validity of the original ticket.
  • Rebook onto a British Airways mainline flight between Heathrow and Nice on earlier or later dates, subject to availability.
    Rebooked flights should be in the same class of travel as the original booking. If the same booking class is not available, the next lowest class may be booked within the same cabin. Rebooking must be on a date within the validity of the original ticket.

  • Refund the ticket purchased to the original form of payment.

 

Please Note: If the customers ticket includes a transfer to/from another BA service and is no longer within the minimum connection time for flights, the above options may also be used to rebook the connecting flight.

Affected passengers should contact their local British Airways office to rebook.
