The current track of Hurricane Gustav may affect flights to/from Kingston or Grand Cayman. The situation is being continually monitored, and it is possible cancellations will be made.
Customers should be advised to check the status of their flight by visiting the Arrivals and Departure pages on ba.com before leaving for the airport and to check in as normal.
Customers who are due to travel on any flights which are cancelled or delayed for more than four hours due to Hurricane Gustav are covered by the options outlined in the Conditions of Carriage.
Customers who are booked to fly on the British Airways service LHR-NAS only on 29 August 2008 are unaffected
In addition:
The Chief Immigration Officer of the Cayman Islands Immigration Department has instructed that ONLY CAYMANIANS AND LEGAL RESIDENTS of Grand Cayman will be allowed to travel to the island until further notice and this is subject to review.
For all passengers travelling to Grand Cayman on 29 August 2008, other than Caymanians and legal residents of Grand Cayman, the only option available is a full refund to the original form of payment. This will also be subject to review.
