Guideline - Comair Johannesburg to Mauritius service changes effective 03 May 09

British Airways franchise partner Comair has announced it is to withdraw Wednesday and Sunday services between Johannesburg and Mauritius with effect 03 May 2009.

Advice for customers

The following guidelines have been issued for customers holding tickets issued on or before 25 February 2009 who are booked to travel on withdrawn services between Johannesburg and Mauritius from 03 May 2009 onwards:

For customers booked in all classes:

Customers will be rebooked on alternative services between Johannesburg and Mauritius on a Saturday (this is the only other day services are operated). Customers who find the alternative unsuitable may:

Rebook on an alternative Saturday service. Rebooking must be in the same class and cabin as the original booking.

or

Customers may be offered a full refund with no cancellation fees.

For Executive Club members booked in redemption classes.

Members may rebook to travel on Comair services between Johannesburg and Mauritius on Saturdays.*

or

Members may be offered a full refund of the mileage to their account.

*Please note - Executive Club members are not being automatically reaccommodated.
