British Airways codeshare partner bmi have announced the suspension of services between Heathrow and Ekaterinburg (SVX) with effect from 13 October 2008.

Advice for customers

Customers holding tickets for travel on a BA* marketed codeshare flight operated by bmi between LHR and SVX on or after 13 October 2008 may rebook:

Between LON and HEL

Re-book onto a BA operated or BA* marketed codeshare service operated by Finnair in the same cabin and same class as the original booking between LON and SVX.

Between HEL and SVX

Re-book onto Finnair (AY) services in the same class as the original booking between LON and SVX.

The booking must include the comment "INVOL reroute due BD cancellation". Tickets must be re-issued for the new routing which is now a two sector journey.

If no Finnair HEL-SVX service exists on the original date of travel, the customer may be re-booked on the nearest available Finnair service to SVX in the same class as the original booking.
