Automated Queue Processor (AQP) - Decommission 30 November 2008

Rate this page: / 3.0
What is AQP ?

AQP is an automated queue system. This system is linked to your CRS and the British Airways booking system. It reads the CRS PNR and updates the corresponding BA PNR *instantly* with your servicing request. The PNR is then queued to the appropriate British Airways servicing unit for action. The system also works in reverse to transfer the reply from British Airways into your CRS PNR and place it on your queue.

What will happen to AQP ?

AQP was decommissioned by SITA on the 30th of November 2008. That means that AQP requests for AQP/PTA and AQP/GEN SSR are no longer processed effective 01 December 2008. BA cannot influence this process. This decision has been made by SITA.
