You can make the start of your journey as enjoyable and stress free as possible by checking in online or using a mobile phone, from 24 hours before your flight departs.
Check in online from the comfort of your home, office or hotel, choose your seat and print your Boarding Pass. Alternatively choose to fax, email or save your Boarding Pass so you can print it when you wish.
If you’re travelling with bags simply drop them off at one of the Fast Bag Drops when you arrive at the airport, then speed through to Departures where you’ll have more time to work, shop or relax.
You can check in and choose your seat using your mobile phone at ba2go.com, then simply collect your Boarding Pass at the airport.

Alternatively, you can save time at the airport by using a check-in kiosk. If you need any assistance our team of experts on the ground will be happy to help. Choose your seat, print and collect your Boarding Pass and drop off your bags at our Fast Bag Drop desks. If you prefer, you can go to one of our check-in desks.
Increased baggage allowance
As a World Traveller Plus customer, you benefit from an increased baggage allowance of two free checked bags each weighing up to 23kgs and two* pieces of hand baggage.
*Following the recent introduction of revised security arrangements for all customers travelling into the USA, British Airways is clarifying its hand baggage policy for customers travelling into the USA, including those who are transferring onto flights to the USA.
Customers travelling in our World Traveller* and World Traveller Plus* economy cabins to the USA from Heathrow and Gatwick will continue to take only ONE item of handluggage.
Passengers flying to the US who have brought more than one item of hand luggage can check the extra bags in for free.
Customers travelling to destinations outside the United States or from the United States are not affected.
*Executive Club Gold and Silver members travelling in any cabin to the USA from Heathrow, Gatwick and London City are able to take the normal two pieces of hand baggage allowance.
