Ticketing reminder-deadline for issuing the ticket

The so-called "PNR-Firming" is an automated flight firming check. PNRs are checked for ticket numbers at the following deadlines:

Note: in this context premium classes are: F A J C D W Y

21 days before first departure:
All PNRs not containing a BA premium class segment (as defined above).

10 days before first departure:
all PNRs in all classes.

5 days before first departure:
all PNRs containing a BA premium class segment (as defined above).

If no ticket number is found a message is sent to the PNR owner requesting advice of ticket number or release of space.

Ticket numbers can be added manually to the PNR if necessary. In this case please only use the following formats according to the CRS you are using.

Galileo
SI.YY*TKNO125 (add ticket number)
Sabre
3OSI YY TKNO 125 (add ticket number)
Worldspan
3OSI YYTKNO 125 (add ticket number)

Important information:

Please note that the ticketing deadlines (ticketing timelimit as per fare rules) are always calculated from the original PNR creation date.

The CRSs may be calculating these on a different basis and therefore if PNRs are rebooked it is recommended to create a new PNR in order to avoid possible cancellations.
