18 Apr, 2008

Customer guidelines have been issued today as a result of the forthcoming withdrawal of British Airways services between Manchester and New York from 27 October 2008.

Customers affected by the withdrawal of services between Manchester(MAN) and New York (JFK) from 27 October 2008 are covered by the customer options outlined below. Customers may:

  • Rebook to travel Manchester to New York on BA services via LHR or LGW
  • Book onto an available flight within a 3-day period before or after the scheduled departure time of the original flight. If the same booking class is not available, the next lowest class may be booked within the same cabin. This will be at no additional cost to the customer, and if required, the validity of the ticket may be extended.

Rebooking should be within the validity of the original ticket purchased or within 3 months of the original flight, which ever is longer.

  • Rebook to travel Manchester to New York on BA services via LHR or LGW
  • Book an alternative date convenient to the customer, providing a seat is available in the same fare class and same cabin as originally booked. The flight must be re-booked and travel must take place within the validity of the ticket purchased. This will be at no additional cost to the customer.

Rebooking should be within the validity of the original ticket purchased or within 3 months of the original flight, which ever is longer.
